He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nelson and Grace Mitchell (Sparks); his son William "Billy" Mitchell; and his son-in-law Thomas Mann. He is survived by: his children, Shurlene Mann of Dodge City and Jeff Mitchell of Dodge City; his sister Jean Cullins; his grandchildren, Jacob Mann and Shannon Mann; and his stepgrandchildren, Rex, Artt and Lance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Alzheimer's Association both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas.
