He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Jean Hamilton (Lembright) and Dean Hamilton; and his daughter Camille Martin. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Martin; his children, Tony Hamilton (Xyleene), Todd Hamilton of Dodge City, Travis Hamilton (Adrianne) of Jacksonville, Miranda Becker (Nick) of Pretty Prairie, Shane Birkholz (Kendra) of Garden City and Abram Martin (Sherazad Shaikh) of Rancho Cucamonga; and his siblings, Carol Jean Martin (J. D.) of Sharon, Louise Tegarden (Terry), Nancy Hampton and Terry Hamilton (Nancy) of Dodge City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the United States Vietnam Memorial or the local VFW in care of the funeral home.
