He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Everett and Mary Juanita Powers (Juttner); his siblings, Peggy Schulte, Virgil and Maxine; and his brothers-in-law, Don Harper and Mickey McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy McGee; his daughters, Rhonda Whitney (Brian) of Haviland and Shayla Werner (Jason) of Hays; his grandchildren, Brayden, Quint, Kambree and Brody; his siblings, Rita Harper of Dodge City, Don Powers (Cynthia) of Wichita and Dale Powers of Dodge City; and his brothers-in-law, Dallas Schulte of Wright and Dan McGee (Kat) of Ferndale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Andrew Cemetery or the Dodge City Gun Club both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
