We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2023, at the age of 83, Jim York (Dodge City, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry York and Helen York (Lonnberg); his sister Sharon Russell; and his brothers-in-law, Glee Abbey and David White.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Lisa (Jeff Pinkerton) of Rose Hill, Kansas and Jay (Windy) of Broomfield, Colorado; his siblings, Althea White and Floyd York (Christa); his siblings-in-law, Richard Russell and Esther Abbey; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Pinkerton, Joslyn Pinkerton, Ian York and Helen York.
The family suggests memorials to the First Christian Church, Hospice of the Prairie, or St. Jude Children's Hospital all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave, Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
