He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Smith and Albert "Bud" Smith (Bertalan); and his brother Keith Lee Smith. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Calvin and Kayla Cowan (Brandon); and his grandsons, Braxton, Cooper and Dawson Cowan.
