With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregory Lee Burkhart (Dodge City, Kansas), born in Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Burkhart and Virginia Burkhart (Heit); his brother-in-law MJ Straight; and his nephew Robert Straight. He is survived by: his children, Heather Schnoebelen (Eddie Smith) of Nevada, Texas and Kelly Burkhart; his siblings, Gerald Burkhart (Rose Ann), Barbara Straight, Cindy Schaffer (Greg) and Pam Polley; and his granddaughter Sloane Schnoebelen.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Leukemia-Lymphoma Society both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
