He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Freeman; his children, Ginette Layne Haag (Vern), Mark Stuart Gaul and Ryan Douglas Gaul; his grandchildren, Brittany Tobin (Joe), Jordan Johnston (Chris) and Cheyenne Gaul; his great grandchild Kayson Johnston; and his siblings, Harold Gaul, Lois Crego (Leland), Donna Hensley, Sharon Steele (Max) and Pat Dome (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to Ford County Fire & EMS or the Minneola District Hospital both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
