Ploutz of Dodge City, Kansas, born in Ellsworth, Kansas, who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ernest, Jr. and Helen Ploutz (Wolff). He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his daughters, Deena Hamilton (Jordan) and Emily Bewley (Ryan); his grandchildren, James, Jessa Hamilton, Jaxon and Baby Boy Bewley; his siblings, Tracy Ploutz (Bonnie) and Garnell Royer (Jim); his siblings-in-law, John Dolezal (Dawn) and Susan Davidson; and his nieces and nephews, Travis Ploutz (Mary), Derrick Ploutz (Jessica), Trevor Ploutz (Maria), Alex Royer, Paul Royer, Curtis Dolezal, Colby Dolezal (Sydney), Shelly Watkins and Lea Watkins. He is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hospice of the Prairie, Morningside Community Church or the Ford County Humane Society all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
