With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lee Heytens of Dodge City, Kansas, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on August 2, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Gay Heytens (Peterson); and his brother Timmy. He is survived by: his father Leo Eugene; his wife Bonnie of Dodge City; his children, James Heytens of Dodge City, Jon Heytens (San) of Dodge City, Havilah Stude (Blaine) of Copeland and Karen Heytens (Nic Harms) of Dodge City; and his siblings, Bill, Jeanette, Mary, Leah, Esther and Becky. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
