He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Moon; and his children, Clifford W. Moon, Jr. and Vera B. Moon. He is survived by: his sister Rose Marie Hansen (Moon) of Concord, California; his son Ed Moon (Mary Jo) of The Villages, Florida; his daughter-in-law Karie Moon of Minneola; his daughter Rita Stroud (Brian) of Dodge City; his grandchildren, Jeremy Gross (Elizabeth) of Salado Texas, Wayne Moon of Dodge City, Bill Moon (Mary) of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Wilbur Moon of Kansas City and Jessica Gross of Grapevine Texas; and his great grandchildren, Bobby and Hattie Gross of Salado Texas.
