She is survived by: her husband Jeff Ayers; her stepson Dan Ayers (Safae); her nephews, James and Thomas Gardner Annette; and her siblings, Keith Gardner (late Wanda), Vance Gardner (Yvonne), Barbara Burgess, Brenda Dohman (Harry), Perry Gardner, George Gardner (Wanda), Marie Wasyliw (Billy Waz) and Nancy Brunetti (Dan).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prayers Memory Lane Memorial Park.
