He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander R. Espinosa and Katherine Espinosa (Delgado); his daughters, Rachel Espinosa and Katherine Espinosa Woolwine; and his sisters, Delores Briseno and Mary Ann Blanchett.

He is survived by: his son Paul Espinosa (Jahna) of Lawrence; and his sister Jane Moore (Leo) of Hutchinson.
