He is survived by: his son Michael (Jamie Penka); his grandchildren, Mackenzie (Jacob Monroe), Nathan (Caylin Penka), Trenton (Brittany Cantrell), Bryan (Haley Penka), Skyler Cantrell of Omaha, Quiton LaPointe of Manhattan, Mitchell (Chancie Penka) and Kaleb LaPointe of Garden City; and his great grandchildren, Khyler, Brenlei, Elena, Hagan, Lakelynn, Kathleen, Ellie, Luna and Koda.
The family suggests memorials to the Larry Penka Memorial Fund in care of Boomhower Funeral Home.
