He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frederick and Beulah Elsie Helzer (Wheeler); and his siblings, Wiley Helzer, Delores Williams and Harlan Helzer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bernita Maris of Garden City, Kansas, Lois Fiessenger of Newton, Kansas, Lyle Helzer of Goodland, Kansas and Bev Hall of Bazine Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
