Boyd A. Shupe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Boyd A. Shupe of Dighton, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Boyd A. Shupe to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Marinus and Leona Bernice Shupe (Thompson); his wife Susan M. Hejny; his brothers, Lester Shupe and Floyd (Sherry Shupe); and his nephew Jeff Shupe.
He is survived by: his children, Leona Kuntzelman (John Washington), Malinda (Shane Greene), Michelle Shupe, Randy Whipple of Dighton, Lisa (Aaron Conine), Melissa Shupe (Steve Gormley), Arden Shupe of Scott City and Janie (Chris Howard). He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Boomhower Funeral Home - Dighton (145 N Wichita Ave, Dighton, KS 67839). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (322 S 1st St, Dighton, KS 67839). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St Theresa Catholic Church of JOY Center in care of Boomhower Funeral Home.
