He is survived by: his wife Glenda Lowden (Johnson) of Dexter; his sister Eloise Johnson (Lee Wayne) of Dexter; his stepchildren, Karen Mitchell (Jack) of Little Rock, AR and Gary Lowden (Michelle) of Hackney; his granddaughter Julie Jarboe (Travis); and his stepchildren, Josh Arentz, Christina Bordon (Corey), Barbie Ann Miller (Josh), Brandon Lowden (April), Kent Lowden (Suzanne), Christopher Lowden (Susan), Jordan Lowden (Brandy), Russell Lowden (Heather), Vincent Lowden (Crystal) and Karina Lowden.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Richard's name for Gentiva Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
