It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maedean Deremer (DeSoto, Kansas), born in Quitman, Arkansas, who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Patterson and Ellie Patterson; her husband Herb Deremer; her grandson Mitchell Zimmerman; and her siblings, Joe, Henry, Darrell Patterson and Hilda Higgs.
She is survived by: her children, Bill (Peggy), Jane Hodgdon, Barbara Turner (Patrick) and Nancy Bowling (Leister); her sisters, Lena Martin and Marilyn Battles (Ted); and her close friend Ron Mears. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
