She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kyle Whitley and Nancy Lou Allene Cupples; her husband Bobby "Bob" Lee Atkison; and her granddaughter Kelsey Gin Atkison. She is survived by: her daughters, Ginny Atkison-Hall (Matthew) and Teri Sommer (James); her grandchildren, Caitlin Ott (Jacob), Emma Jane Reid (Clayton), Jamon Sommer and Lenzie Sommer; her great grandchild Rory Ott; and her brother Samuel Kyle Whitley. She is also survived by three nieces.
