She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Nelson and Mary Patricia Nelson; her former husband Les Cooper; and her grandson Vinny Valdez. She is survived by: her husband Darrell W. Chapman Derby Ks; her siblings, Robert (Diane), Phillip Nelson Goddard (Brenda), Patrick (Barbara), David Nelson Schuilte (Eileen), Patricia Suddock Clonmel Ks, Peggy Horn Botheli (Roger), Arcadia Ks and Janet Cigainero Chanute (Mike); and her children, Thomas Cooper Derby (Michelle), Nicolas Cooper Wichita Ks, Darrin Chapman Belaire (Renee), Joshua Chapman Wichita Ks and Kristia Kastens Derby (Will). She is also survived by 18 grandkids and 17 great grandkids also many nephews and niece.
