He was predeceased by: his parents, Gareld Klingsick and Patricia Klingsick; his son Jeffery Klingsick; and his brother Mike Klingsick. He is survived by: his wife Mandy; his children, Nicholas Klingsick and Jenna Klingsick; and his brothers, Ron Klingsick (Shirley) and Rod Klingsick (Debbie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established with the Wounded Warrior Project.
