He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph and Evelyn Vrbas; and his mother Audry Thornhill. He is survived by: his wife Juli Vrbas; his children, Caleb Vrbas (Crystal) of Derby, Audri Snyder (Chris) of San Antonio, FL, Chloe Jurgensen (Daxton) of Wellington, Anthony Vrbas (Mallory) of Wichita, Claire Smith (Jacob) of Derby, Asa Vrbas of Mulvane, Caroline Vrbas of Wichita, Alayna Vrbas of Derby and Celia Vrbas of Rose Hill; and his siblings, Marla Watkins (Bob), Donnie Hestand (Annie), Kathy Woods (Joe), Shawn Graham, Dawn Christensen and Karla Vrbas.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1636 E Patriot Ave, Derby, KS 67037). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
