He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Wayne Purnell and Mary Cathryn Ferguson-Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Connie Purnell of Wichita, KS; his sons, Brett Purnell and Ryan Purnell; his siblings, Cindy Brown (Frank) and Scott Ferguson; his aunt Sandra Rogers (Phil); his mother-in-law Jeannie Martin; his niece Vanessa Jakovac (Shawn); his nephew Jacob Brown; and his brother-in-law Chris Lowry (Cai).
