He was predeceased by: his brother Bill; his daughter Rebecca Thompson; and his son-in-law Gene Lindsay. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Willoughby; his sister Loretta Polka; his children, Deborah Grejtak (Mike), Mary Garst (Kent), Rhonda Lindsay (Dan), Catherine Heinz (Van), Rachel Thompson, David Thompson (Lisa), Stuart Thompson (Pat), Robert Thompson (Jennifer) and Michael Thompson (Brandie); and his stepson Taylor Willoughby (Charleen). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Interim Healthcare and Hospice of Wichita, Kansas and Knights of Columbus Beloit, Kansas.
