He was predeceased by: his parents, Nevelyn Bishop and Pauline Bishop (Corl); his brother Charles Bishop; his daughter Kendra Bishop; and his grandson Samuel Detrick.
He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Bishop; his children, Bob Bishop, Ernie Bishop (Emily) and Marti Detrick (Rob); his grandchildren, Kristen Collins (Tommy), Erik Bishop (Neva), Maggie Stanwick (Jonathan), Jack Detrick and Abby Detrick; and his great grandchildren, Laiken, Anthony, Zoe, Alaina and Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his loving memory with the Church of Christ of Belle Plaine.
