It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Martinez (Derby, Kansas), who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrique Vela and Emilia Vela (Cardenas); her husband Juan Martinez; her children, Carlos Martinez and Perla Martinez; and her siblings, Armandina, Valdomero, Aizar, Sergio and Enrique.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Juan Martinez Jr., Adrian Martinez, Martin Martinez, Enrique Martinez and Dolores Martinez (Loly). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
