She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Pruitt and Pluma Pruitt; her siblings, George, Rosella, Hazel and Vera; her daughter Sharon Jean; her husbands, Lee Sawvell and Norvil Burdan; and her sons-in-law, Thomas Carter and Phillip Hale.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Ward (Cecil) and Vicky Hale; and her grandchildren, Devin Carter (Analia), Darcy Alexander (Mitch Cogburn), Ryan Hale (Casey) and Mindy Potter (Sean). She is also survived by her nine greatgrandchildren.
