She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil C. Papen and Genivive Papen (Monasmith); her husband James R. Widener; her brothers, Robert Papen, Russell Papen and Victor Papen; her daughter-in-law Linda Widener; and her grandson Aaron Aday.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerrel Widener of Newkirk, OK, Frank Widener (Michelle) of Newkirk, OK and Neil Widener (Sherry Tyson) of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kechi Cemetery (6523 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219).
