He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Chisholm; and his children, Kevin Murphy and Stacy Ann Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Theresa McBee (Joe) and Gerald Patrick Murphy, III; his grandchildren, Meghan Ugues (Marcos), Autumn Roby (Billy), Ashley Slattery (Ryan), Shelby Danielsen (Dane), Gage McBee (Emily), Mariah Murphy, Brianna Murphy, Madison Murphy and Kevin Murphy; and his sisters, Elaine Brotman and Ann Shapiro. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
