It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gary P. Damm of Derby, Kansas, born in Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 72, on January 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Damm and Eileen Damm; and his family, Becky and Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Robbie; his children, Becky Moeder (Shane) and Vaughn Damm (Norah); his grandchildren, Devin Beal (Kenzie), Jacob Moeder (Jordan), Magnus Moeder, Marlee Moeder, Brandon Beal, Jones Damm, Violette Damm, Milo Damm and Lillian Damm; his great grandchildren, Brooks Beal and Ruby Moeder; and his siblings, Larry Damm, Jeanne McDonald, Aleta Ehrlich (Steve), Janice Rousselot, Jerry Damm and Rita Pinkall (Bruce). He is also survived by his family, friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Madison Avenue Central Park (512 E Madison Ave, Derby, KS 67037).

In honor of Gary, contributions to the Gary Damm Memorial Fund can be made to the Derby Community Foundation, 946 N. Buckner St, Derby, KS 67037.

“Gary and Robbie and I were in Great Bend High together, tho' I don't recall sharing classes. Later Gary and I talked a few times at Kansas U when he was doing Pharmacy. I mainly remember Gary as a long time good and attentive friend to my high school buddy and KU roommate Leland Befort, whom I visited last summer in Great Bend. When Gary friended me on Facebook, I messaged asking about Leland. Last summer Leland mentioned a recent trip with Gary and Robbie. Good folks. It's always too soon.”
