He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Knipp and Catherine Knipp (Brungardt); and his brother-in-law Marvin Kriley. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Knipp (Benjamin); his children, Sandra Lafon (Craig) of Derby, Teresa Cole (Jason) of Derby and Philip Knipp of Wichita; his grandchildren, Ethan, Aila, Emily and Addison; and his siblings, Ellie Kriley, Shirley Leochner, Gerald Knipp, Verlin Knipp, Ron Knipp and Sheryl Curry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives & friends.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers: St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund or Children's Mercy Hospital of Kansas City.
