He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Chism; and his son Russell Kiker. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Jim (Deb) of Topsham and Rodger of Wichita; his grandchildren, Brad Kiker Kiker (Rachael West), Amy Clements (Joe), Drew Kiker (Katie) and Carrie Hying (Terry); and his great grandchild Uriah Hying.
