He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Horner and Myrtillia Horner (Colclazier); his sisters, Darlene K. Davis, Sharon Fleske and Ann Callis; and his niece Toni Riche.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Horner (Teufel); his children, Dewayne Horner (Frankie) and Daytha Rueger; his adoptive children, LeRoy Smith (Shawnia) and Leanne Jameson (Brad); his siblings, Robert Horner (Debbie), Rhonda Staats, Dora Gish (Larri) and Becky Wells (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Darren, Micah and Faith. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
