He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Irene Swiantek; and his brothers-in-law, James See and Carl Himes. He is survived by: his grandson Raymond; his wife Glenda Himes Swiantek; his children, Jennifer Swiantek Proffitt (Scott Proffitt) and Tony Swiantek (Julie Heang); his grandchildren, Tyler Proffitt, Tara Proffitt Wright (Golden Wright) and Paige Proffitt; his great grandchild Elija Reed Wright; and his brother Raymond Swiantek (Melissa Rider). He is also survived by Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with Lemon Park Lights, c/o Deb Goyen, 281 NE 45th Ave, Pratt KS 67124.
