It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David D. Gier (Derby, Kansas), who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert D. Gier and Bonnie J. Hunt Wingender. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Gier; his stepson Brandon Sparman (Maureen); his grandchildren, Blake, Alyson and Henry Sparman; and his siblings, Sarah Harkleroad (Larry), Sandy Barnett, Debbie Kerr and Karl Finkemeier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Harry Hynes Hospice.
