He was predeceased by: his father Jack C; and his brother Steven W. Allen MD. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Allen; his sister Diane Johnson (Douglas); his sister-in-law Anne Allen; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Vela (Jesse), Michael Allen, Justin Johnson (Sara) and Kelsey Kempin (Brian). He is also survived by five grandnieces and nephew.
