Mary Joseph Schmitt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Joseph Schmitt of Denton, Kansas, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Weingart and Frances Weingart. She is survived by: her children, Herman Weingart, George and Etta Catherine Thuman; her husband David Schmitt Sr.; her sons, David Schmitt Jr. and Timothy Schmitt (Brianne Ball); her grandchildren, Quenton Schmitt, Graham Schmitt and Amelia Schmitt; and her brothers, Paul Weingart, John Weingart (Nancy Weingart) and James Weingart (Becky Weingart). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be direction to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
