She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Buhman and Veryle Buhman (Card); her husband Lewis Richard "Dick" Zeit; her sister Ronda Steed; and her son-in-law Steve Peters.

She is survived by: her children, Vickie Zeit, Diane Stewart (Ken), Sheryl Pierce (GE), Kirk Zeit (Kristina), Anita Peters-Strasburg (Scott) and Kevin Zeit. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
