He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene D. "Dutch" Duchesneau and Wilma Mae Duchesneau Muckey; his stepfather Cliff Muckey; his stepdaughters, Chante Judy and Emily Shaffer; his siblings, Barbara Keehn and Larry Duchesneau; and his nephew Dennis Keehn.

He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Minnis; his sons, Victor L. Duchesneau of Fairview, KS, Bradley L. Duchesneau (Jamie) of Topeka, KS and Jacque L. Duchesneau of Topeka, KS; his stepsons, Thomas Judy (Monique) of Topeka, KS and Micheal Judy (Ashley) of Middletown, OH; and his sisters, Grace Young of Houston, TX and Tawnie Hopkins of Holton, KS. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Jackson Heights High School to be designated for softball and baseball fields c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
