He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Birkbeck and LaVerne Birkbeck. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his daughter Paula Taylor (Matt); his grandchildren, Ryan, Carson and Amanda Taylor; his son Patrick Birkbeck (Heather); his grandchildren, Lauren and Alex; and his brother Steve Birkbeck (Cherie).
