Howard Wilson Edwards, age 76, of Denison, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX on Monday, February 29, 2016. Howard was born on October 5, 1939 in Terrell TX to Woodrow Wilson & Doris Edwards. He was a painter and worked in the construction business. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him. Howard was fondly known as Mr. Shuffleboard. He was great at playing shuffleboard and he was always ready for a good game of golf. His dog "Daisy" was very special to him. He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Edwards of the home, children; Kumberly Kaye Finical of Wright City, OK, George Smith of Denison, TX and Amber Rominger of Denison, TX, sister; Brenda Ruble & Wayne of Denison, brother; Mark Edwards & Wanda of Denison, TX, several grandchildren, one great-grandchild, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Doris Edwards.
