He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Dodson and Evelyn Dodson (Buehler); and his brother Orville Dodson of Onaga. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Wood; his sons, Jim (Pam) of Holton, KS and Joel (Jane) of Caney, KS; his grandchildren, Jordan and Bailey Dodson of Caney, KS; his nephews, Lyndall Dodson (Karen) of Kearney, MO and Daryl Dodson (Gina) of Liberal, MO; and his sister-in-law Melba Dodson of Onaga, KS..
