She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Smith and Jewell Smith (Tilley); her husband Kenneth Sims; and her sister-in-law Willa Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Ken (Connie) of Lenexa, KS and Tony (Trish) of Grass Valley, CA; her grandsons, Josh (Emily) of Houston, TX and Kyle (Amber) of Shawnee, KS; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Garrett and Parker; and her brother Roger Smith.
