Verle D. Istas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verle D. Istas of De Soto, Kansas, born in Aurora, Kansas, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Octave Istas and Etta Istas (Chaput); and his spouse Willadean Bergstrom. He is survived by: his children, Gary Istas (Mary), Glenda Bull (late Richard) and Bonnie Andrews (Keith). He is also survived by three sisters, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Verle's name to Vitas Hospice or Holy Family Catholic Church for masses and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
