With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Whitney Drouhard of Danville, Kansas, born in Winfield, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2024 at the age of 22. She was predeceased by: her father Jon Oliver Nelson; her sister Abigail Ann Moody; her grandfathers, Dennis Topper and Gene Bartlett; and her stepgrandparents, Lloyd and Susie Shelton.
She is survived by: her mother Amy Rebecca Gerlets (Bartlett) of Bluff City, Kansas; her son Colton Alan Drouhard; her husband Matthew Drouhard; her siblings, Staton Nelson (Megan) of Anthony, Kenneth Gerlets Jr. of Bluff City and Olivia Nelson of Cambridge, Kansas; her grandparents, Janet Lowry of Wichita, Susan Hamm of Harper, Kitty and Stan Williams of Cambridge; and also, Roger, Jill Drouhard of Danville, Dylan, Jesse, Wyatt and Gracie Drouhard of Danville. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Whitney Drouhard Memorial Fund (for Colton's education) and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
