She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie James and Dovey Louise Payton (Bailey); her husband William DeWitt Thompson; her son Clifford Eugene Thompson; and her siblings, Everett Charley Payton, Harold Vanard Payton, Johnnie James Payton, Jr., Raymond Payton, Eugene Cecil Payton, Carl Alvin Payton, Goldie Melinda Smith, Daisy Mae Neeper, Dovey Louise Fromm and Jewell Trixie Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Louise Windham of Pratt, Harold Raymond Thompson of Alamogordo and Irene Mary Horsley (Robert) of Nevada, Missouri; and her grandchildren, David Windham, Sheralee Windham, Jeremyn Horsley, Elyssa Spurgin, Roxanne Thompson, Jerricho Jonker and Eugene Thompson. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
