He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Ethel Peterson (Kiefer) and John Peterson; his siblings, John "Bove" Peterson, Gwendolyn "Tooty" Peterson and Ronald Peterson; and his grandson Mark Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Twylia Peterson of Norman, Ray Peterson II of Anthony and Monica Psikal of Norman; his grandchildren, Kyle Carothers (Ashley), Kurt Carothers, Morgan Coon (Jason), Brandy Hammans (Elias), KJ Hauser, Tyler Drivere (Sara) and Amber Psikal (Denver Blevins); and his sisters, Kathryn Blake (Don) and Sharon Bray (Charles). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
