We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2023, at the age of 78, Marilyn Ruth FitzSimmons-Mavity of Cunningham, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold DeWeese and Vivian DeWeese (Brady); her brother Dale DeWeese (Janet) of Cunningham; her husband Lynn D. FitzSimmons; her brother-in-law Eddie Tharp; and her pets, Albert and Eddie.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dwane DeWeese (Sue) of Pratt, Jeanie Tharp (Eddie) of Pratt and Ruth Gamboa (Roy) of Pratt; her children, Dennis FitzSimmons (Kristi), Leann Barnes (Robert), Barbara Glenn (Scott) of Arcadia, OK., Mark Mavity (Maria) of Cunningham, KS., Daniel Shea of Cunningham, KS., Kristi, Robert, Scott and Maria; her grandchildren, Brandon, Spencer, Jayden McNerny, Shelby FitzSimmons-Dirks, Kari FitzSimmons, Micheal, Tyler Glenn, Jon and Jack Shaffer; and her great grandchildren, Presley and Stetson Dirks.
Memorials may be made to the 4-C Child Care Center or West Kingman County Education Foundation Alumni Scholarship, in care of Larrison Mortuary.
