It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwayne Elliot of Cunningham, Kansas, born in Turon, Kansas, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Elliot and Georgia Vandermay; his great grandchild Oliver "Ollie" Ortiz; and his brother-in-law Richard Messerli. He is survived by: his wife Karen Laurice Elliot (Whitmore); his sons, Scott Elliot (Kendra) of Pratt and Terry Elliot (Jamie) of Wichita; his sisters, Ruth Barbour of California, Karol Geiger of Iowa and Mert Gowan of Oregon; his grandchildren, Jason Elliot (Alisha), Kristin Elliot, Renee Elliot, Seth Elliot, Andrew Johns (Justine), Kaylen Ortiz (Rob), Cooper Elliot and Easton Elliot; his great grandchildren, Jordyn Elliot, Anjelica Elliot, Jake Dwayne Elliot, Christopher Ortiz and Arya Ortiz; his sister-in-law LaVelle Messerli of Newton; his niece Darcie Martin; his nephews, Kirby Martin, Darin Messerli and Tom Durall (Sue); and his great-nephews, Chase Martin (Jordan) and Brock Martin. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
