It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dan Potter of Cunningham, Kansas, born in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Potter and Katherine Potter (Marlett); his siblings, Bill, Leslie, Jack, Richard Potter and Marla Fulkerson; and his sons, Donald and Billy Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lou Thompson; his children, Leslie Scholes of Cunningham and Allen Scholes of Akron, CO; his close friend Nancy Wenzel; his sisters, Joyce Buckridge of Americus and Donna Slade of Cunningham; and also, Laura, Mike and Rex. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
