It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Lee Freund of Cunningham, Kansas, born in Kingman, Kansas, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Earl and Helen V. Cross (McGovney); her husband Duane "Skip" Freund; and her stepson Dwayne Hoffman. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Hoffman of Arkansas and Todd Hoffman of Pratt; her siblings, Kathy Pugh (Joe) of Sylvia, John Cross (Crystal) of Great Bend, Larry Cross (Suzanne) of Littleton, David Cross (Grace) of Shorncliffe, Queensland, Susan Parsons (Steve) of Pratt, George Cross (Sherry) of Pratt and Steve Cross (Janice) of Pratt; and her grandchildren, Joshua Hoffman, Kristopher Hoffman, Kyle Hoffman (Isabel), Karin Booty (Nathan), Kendra Hoffman, Brynn Hoffman (Devon Koehler) and Kimberlyn Hoffman. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
